We have our December Blog Contest winner!

Congratulation to Debbie E. from Bonney Lake, WA. She has shared her story of "Family Time, Then and Now"!

I have six brothers and sisters. We did not have many happy memories growing up, but my brothers and sisters managed to have a lot of fun centered around playing cards and games. The seven of us are very close, so whenever we get together that is what we still do for fun. When we had our children it seemed like they were off playing with each other while we played our cards but I always wanted to include them in our fun.

Now we have grandkids and great nieces and nephews as well as our own children and their families. We have finally found a game that we can all play together and one we all like. That game is “Marbles and Jokers”! Now when we get together we all choose to play that game. All of the kids that want to hang out with us are now included.

It all started when we got together at my brothers house and he said “I have a new game to play”. After playing Marbles and Jokers, I ordered one and so did my sister and my brother. When my kids came home for Christmas we showed them the game. They almost missed their flights home because they could not stop playing it. It is so much fun to include all the family. To find a game everyone wants to play makes this a very special game. Now we have a waiting line to play!
